We were brought in for the second year running to develop a short film to showcase the diverse talent in the Creative Edinburgh Awards shortlist for 2021.
Still committed to making the Awards as accessible as possible, Creative Edinburgh went ahead with a fully online programme so it was vital for us to keep the production value and engagement high after another year of online events.
Similarly to the 2020 Awards, we asked for short elevator pitch style video from every shortlister, as well as supplementary content like images, logos and illustrations, which we then layered and animated together in an eye-catching and engaging, collage-style for the final film.
One of the Award partners for 2021 was the Fruitmarket, where we had the pleasure of filming all of the Creative Edinburgh live-action sections as well as a little company overview video for the Fruitmarket themselves.
This year, we worked with illustrator Posterboy who created the branding for the Awards and supplied some great logo animations and looping background textures which we edited in with all the content.
